Karver KF4.5 V3 Thimble
Aluminum thimble for KF4.5, KTS4.5 and KFH4.5
Part no. PF350450
The thimble is the link between the anti torsion of the sail and the furler. It is an anodized aluminum part which adapts perfectly to the forks of Karver furlers. An unsuitable thimble quickly damages the feeder forks and decreases performance. Do not hesitate to ask your sailboat to install the thimbles adapted to your furler.

K Tips
- Karver insist on the use of a suitable thimble for your benefit. It doesn’t have to be a Karver thimble. Some sailmakers make their own thimbles in the right dimensions and this does the job perfectly.
- For each thimble, Karver indicates the maximum rope diameter that can be installed. The more the sail is a downwind sail, the more important it is to have good quality, large diameter anti torsion. The tension in the halyards of upwind sails improves the anti torsion properties of the ropes and the diameter is then less important.
