FAQ

Can I use my Mast harness instead of a Deck harness to clip my lifeline onto?

No. Mast harnesses fit around the waist. Deck harnesses fit around the strongest part of the body, the chest/ribcage. Should you fall overboard while attached onto a Mast harness at waist height, your back is not supported and will probably break if you are not conscious to hold up your upper body.

Can I wear a Mast harness and Deck harness together?

Yes. The Deck harness can give more support to the upper body when going aloft if you feed the attached halyard through the loops of both harnesses. Since they fit on different parts of the body, ie the waist and the chest, they do not interfere.

Is the Mast harness available in more sizes?

No. The Mast harness is designed to fit all. Undo the adjustment straps from the elastic belt loops and pull the belt parts together. The smaller the size the more the belt parts will become overlapped and vice versa. An elastic loop on the inside of the belt will hold the overlapped parts together.
