Jon Buoy Certification and Servicing

All JonBuoy products include the date of manufacture on the unit itself, but the servicing interval is determined from the purchase date.

There is no certification required for the Jon Buoy Dan Buoy & Horseshoe as there is no category for them under SOLAS etc? 

For AYF purposes, the Adventure Safety receipt is usually sufficient for the first 18 months, after which time you will need to have your service agent provide a servicing certificate.   Many clubs require a 12 monthly service after the initial 18 month period.
